Meet Dr. Kim

Originally born in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Kim spent his formative years between the vibrant cities of Chicago and Nashville. He returned to Nashville just before college and pursued his undergraduate studies at Belmont University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2007. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2011. Dedicated to continual growth, Dr. Kim actively learns from leading dental professionals around the world, including in Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and Croatia.

Dr. Kim’s path to dentistry began in college when he experienced orthodontic treatment and wisdom tooth removal firsthand. Intrigued by the field, he began shadowing a local dentist and discovered his love for problem-solving, working with his hands, and blending scientific knowledge with artistic detail. For him, dentistry became a calling—one that allows him to relieve pain, rebuild confidence, and witness life-changing transformations through healthy, beautiful smiles.

His professional interests focus on comprehensive restorative dentistry, including dental implants, orthodontics, veneers, and crowns—all performed under one roof. This streamlined approach reflects his passion for convenience and quality care. Dr. Kim is a proud member of multiple dental organizations including the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Orthodontic Society (AOS), Academy of Gp Orthodontics (AGPO), and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

When he’s not in the operatory, Dr. Kim enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling the world, and spending time with his three beloved corgis. Though he lives a quiet life outside of work, his dedication to his patients and the art of dentistry continues to make a lasting impact every day.
